Introduction: A key idea in today’s lesson is that David cried to the Lord in his time of trouble. Prayerfully, we will be challenged to cry out to God and trust Him, in our times of trouble.

Applications:
1. Our lyrics and tunes. Based on vs. 1, let’s make sure our worship songs have a solid message and a tune that attracts, instead of repulse.

2. God is still with us. Based on vss. 1-5,  let’s live like we believe that God is always with us and working in all things for the good of His people.

3. Wicked people. Based on vss. 7-8, let’s work on developing faith to endure the wickedness of people.

4. God working through others. Based on vss. 9-10, let’s be mindful of how God has worked through others, and let’s allow God to work through us to be a blessing to others.

5. Don’t panic. Based on vs. 11, let’s not panic in the time of trouble.
