Introduction: A key idea in today’s lesson is that Jesus implements the Lord’s Supper despite Judas’ betrayal of Him. Prayerfully, we will be challenged to stay focused on our divine assignment despite the Judas in our lives.
Applications:
1. Special days. Based on vs. 17, let’s work on remembering the goodness of the Lord and being obedient to Him.
2. Teamwork. Based on vss. 17-19, let’s work on working together as a team.
3. Don’t be surprised by Judas. Based on vss. 21-25, let’s seek the discernment and spiritual strength needed to serve, despite the presence of Judas.
4. Don’t be like Judas. Based on vs. 24, let’s work on learning from Judas’ betray.
5. The Lord’s Supper. Based on vss. 26-30, let’s make sure we are focused on the right things at communion time.
