Introduction: A key idea in today’s lesson is that Jesus rose and confirmed the message about meeting His disciples in Galilee. Prayerfully, we will be challenged to trust and obey God no matter how mean people may be or whatever our emotional state may be.

Applications:
1. Mean people. Based on vss. 39-40, 47-49, let’s work on being loving people in this mean world.

2. God’s forsaking us. Based on vs. 46, let’s stay mindful that God is always with us and working things out for our good.

3. Jesus – the Son of God. Based on vss. 50–54, let’s live like Jesus is the Son of God. This kind of living should be known for obedience, joy, and confidence.

4. The angel and disciples. Based on vss. 1-7, let’s work on being faithful in receiving God’s word, sharing God’s word, and letting God use us despite our failures.

5. Confirmation on the way. Based on vss. 8-10, let’s be faithful in carrying out our divine assignments and trusting God to confirm His will as He sees fit.
